Description

The Medicine Wheel Huddl is a versatile and culturally enriching piece of furniture designed to maximize space while fostering guided conversations about Indigenous core values. This innovative product incorporates a high-pressure laminate design of the Medicine Wheel, seamlessly combining all four sections into one solid tabletop. With a diameter of 48 inches and a table height of 29 inches, it provides ample space for group discussions and activities.

Design and Construction:

The Medicine Wheel Huddl features ingeniously crafted soft seating in matching colors—red, yellow, black, and white—representing the four directions (North, East, South, and West) commonly interpreted by different Indigenous communities. The seats nest neatly beneath the table, optimizing floor space when not in use. Each seat stands at a height of 18 inches and is padded with 3 inches of high-density foam for optimum comfort.

The seating is upholstered in high resiliency, fire-retardant vinyl that exceeds 1,500,000 double rubs, ensuring durability and longevity. Sealed seams with heavy-duty stitching further enhance the resilience of the seats. The tabletop is constructed from 1-inch melamine with a high-pressure, scratch-resistant laminate, providing a robust and smooth surface for all activities. The edges are finished with a 3mm vinyl bonded edgeband for added protection and style.
